BELLE SHERMAN ELEMENTARY
ANNEX MURAL

The 2022 5th-grade class at Belle Sherman Elementary aimed to create a mural as their final class project, and, with the help of their teacher, they organized a campaign to invite artists to submit designs. After several rounds of deliberation among students and staff, Terrance's design was chosen by the group. The students drafted a request for proposals (RFP) centered around themes of world peace, connection with nature, and, of course, kickball! They played an active role in the project, and each student had the opportunity to leave a handprint, making the memory last.
